The land called South Dakota is home to many Native American Tribes and reservations. "Oceti ŠakowiÅ‹" is a term that encompasses Lakota, Dakota, and Nakota people. Woodland Ranch is located in the center of the Pine Ridge Reservation. It is important that visitors learn about tribal issues so that they can be respectful of people and the land during their trip.
